Michael Hussey appointed as batting coach of Chennai Super Kings

Former Australian cricketer Michael Hussey has been appointed as the brand new batting coach of IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Hussey, who'd represented CSK for an amount of five years, will assume the responsibility in the 11th edition of the IPL.


Confirming the development, cricbuzz quoted Hussey saying, “I'm really stoked up about time for the Chennai Super Kings in a coaching capacity and working together with the players to greatly help them get the most effective out of themselves and also help to create success to the great franchise.I've so many great memories as a person and have made many wonderful friends in Chennai and now I'm stoked up about giving back once again to the franchise in trying to greatly help the following generation of CSK players. It's exciting to own CSK back your competition and I am certain that the fans are happy to own their team back on the field he added.Earlier, Hussey had enjoyed a fruitful outing with MS Dhoni-led CSK. During his tenure from 2008 to 2013, CSK registered two IPL title wins. Whether Hussey can replicate his magic this time around as an instructor remains to be seen.
