Arsenal draw can help West Brom build momentum, says Jay Rodriguez
West Bromwich Albion forward Jay Rodriguez believes the relegation-threatened club can fight for more excellent results after an uplifting 1-1 draw with Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.
Rodriguez, 28, converted an 89th-minute penalty for West Brom to block out Alexis Sanchez's free kick, that was deflected in by James McClean in the 83rd minute, and level the scores.The effect leaves West Brom second-bottom in the table and on a 19-game winless streak in the league but Rodriguez is hopeful that the hard-fought draw from the fifth-placed team might help the Hawthorns outfit turn their fortunes around.
