India vs South Africa: Will enjoy swing and bounce in South Africa, says Bhuvneshwar Kumar
The additional bounce is likely to be a welcome change but bowling with the red Kookaburra ball “would have been a challenge” in the three-match Test series against South Africa, reckons India pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
After having a two-shift opening practice session, the Indian team practised indoors on Sunday because of wet and windy conditions at the Western Province Cricket Club (WPCC).The Indian pacers'focus currently has been on bowling multiple long spells, that they will have to bowl in the series beginning with first Test at Newlands from January 5. “The very first thing that involves your head when you're touring South Africa is bouncy wickets. But that's no surety of what sort of pitch you'd enter the overall game,” said Bhuvneshwar in a media interaction.
