Park Sung-hyun projected to take world number one ranking from Ryu So-yeon
Park Sung-hyun is projected to take control the women's world number 1 ranking after fellow South Korean Ryu So-yeon finished equal 33rd at the TOTO Japan Classic on Sunday.US Women's Open champion Park didn't play the LPGA event, but Ryu had to complete no worse than sixth in which to stay top spot, in line with the projection.
“I didn't realize that,” Ryu told Reuters beyond your scoring tent at the Taiheiyo Club Minori, when told she'd surrendered the top ranking.“I don't really worry about it. It's only a title. It's great to be number 1 obviously however the more important things is how I'm playing for the present. “I more care (about that) than my ranking.”
