Marcos Rojo should have seen red, says Watford boss Marco Silva
Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo needs to have received another yellow card that could have resulted in his dismissal through the side's 4-2 Premier League win at Watford on Tuesday, the house team's manager Marco Silva has said.
The Argentina international was booked in the initial half but avoided sanction when his crunching tackle in the box handed Watford a 77th minute penalty, where Troy Deeney scored to really make the score 3-1.Watford scored again in the 84th minute and Silva believes a late comeback may have been completed had United been reduced to 10 men. “We scored the initial goal from the penalty and for me personally, because moment it absolutely was another yellow card for Marcos Rojo, with 11 against 10 it could be really hard for them,” Silva said following the match.
