Ben Stokes'participation in the upcoming Ashes is not even confirmed as the England side is in Australia. Andrew Strauss, former captain and Director of England Cricket, wants the all-rounder's situation resolved at the earliest.Speaking to BCC Radio 5 Live's Sportsweek.

There's two different potential disciplinary procedures he must proceed through, one may be the ECB's own internal one and another is any potential police action. Until we all know more from law enforcement it's quite difficult for people to place a timeline on anything.”
