Angelo Mathews set to return for Sri Lanka tour of India

Angelo Mathews is ready to go back to the Sri Lanka team because of its tour of India in November after the Sri Lanka Cricket board and head coach of the team confirmed he is injury free. Two other players — Kusal Perera and Asela Gunaratne — will probably join Mathews in the squad for the exact same tour.

Sri Lanka will play on the full tour to India beginning November 16. The teams are scheduled to play three Tests, five ODIs and three T20 Internationals. All three players will appear to strengthen a weakend Sri Lanka that is struggling in limited-overs cricket.
