Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur, English Premier League: United edge Spurs 1-0 at Old Trafford
After coming under fire for holding back and defending against Liverpool and then an embarrassing defeat to Huddersfield in their last Premier League outing and getting a slender win in the UEFA Champions League,
Manchester United showed much more promise when going forward and were equally convincing at the back. They were duely rewarded with a late goal by Anthony Martial as Spurs looked half the force they are without Harry Kane. Dele Alli tried to take his place but couldn't make the most of the solitary chance that came his way.
