How Can the NCAA Transfer System Become Fairer for All? Here's a Proposal
With the NCAA considering eliminating the one-year waiting period for D-I hoops transfers, here is a way the method could benefit college players, college coaches and even senior school recruits
The NCAA is considering eliminating the one-year waiting period for Division I basketball transfers.
As a senior high school coach who has caused over several D-I ballplayers, I've an indication for how to enhance the machine for college players, college coaches and senior high school recruits.
I recently heard a Division I head coach tell a recruit that committing to a college is similar to committing to a lifelong marriage. “You're an integral part of that program forever.” Interestingly, this coach was at his first head work for per year, his second head work for seven years and he then got the itch and left for his third head job. Lifelong marriage?
